The Hunter mini Immersion starts out with the 7 day Basic Skills intensive
(see Basic Skills Intensive for class description)
As we delve deeper into the skills our focus will shift and you will get to learn and refine traditional archery, trapping and other hunting weapon techniques in a fun and informative way. Bring your own bow from home or borrow a bow.

Later during the course
We will participate in the Norwegian moose hunt and get to experience modern hunting with the Knapkjølen hunting team.

When we have got a moose
Though students will not be using weapons themselves we will be processing the animals that are harvested using Stone Age technologies.

In the unusual event that no moose has been harvested by day 3 we will use a local sheep for processing purposes.

The classes will be on a formal 5 days on, 5 days off schedule. During the “off” days you may continue working on the techniques learned during the class.
During the month we will become a small clan and find that there are many more secrets to unravel in community!
