The first week will be the Summer Basic skills (See class description) With these new skills and after a break to absorb and practice them we will head into the wilderness to explore the land by canoe and foot, living and learning as we go.

Fish skin tanning and sewing
Food preservation
Open fire cooking techniques
Knife, saw and axe use
Community and communication skills
During the month we will become a small clan and find that there are many more secrets to unravel in community!
(Participants must be aged 12+ and be competent swimmers)

Food is only provided in the first week of this class, participants should bring 1000 NOK cash (of class price) to cover food expenses during the Basic Skills week, thereafter it will be purchased as a group and augmented with local meat, fish and wild berries. Please budget approximately 10-15 EUR a day for food expenses.
